The nominees for this year’s TRIC Awards have finally been announced.
The prestigious Television and Radio Industries Club awards will take place at a lavish ceremony in Central London on Weds 15th September.
The upcoming awards ceremony will celebrate its 52-year running as some of the very best TV and radio stars will be honoured on the night.
This year, the TRIC awards will be presented in front of an invited audience of over 250 guests and for the first time - fans will be able to watch all the action unfold over a free livestream.
This year’s venue is the prestigious 8 Northumberland Avenue, in the shadow of Trafalgar Square and the lavish event will be preceded by a glamorous red carpet for the press and media.

With thousands of votes cast by members of the public and industry experts, the shortlist contains some of the biggest and best-loved names in the broadcasting industry.
Fans can look forward to 18 awards being presented on the night to some of the biggest names in showbiz as stars including Ant and Dec, Alison Hammond, Piers Morgan, Jodie Comer, and a whole host of reality TV stars and shows are up for nomination.
This year’s ceremony will also host the TRIC Special Award.
In the TV Personality category, Ant & Dec are up against Bradley Walsh and Alison Hammond.

Elsewhere, the News Presenter award is a three-way fight between Huw Edwards and former GMB colleagues Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.
The Drama category sees Call The Midwife, The Crown and Killing Eve going head-to-head, while the New Drama award has Des, Gangs Of London and Bridgerton as contenders.
