'A sombre day for the city' as tributes left for Ava White killed in city attack
Tributes have been paid to a 12-year-old girl after she was killed in a city centre attack last night.
Ava White died following the incident on Church Street after she sustained 'catastrophic injuries'.
A murder probe has since been launched and four teenagers have all been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Woman in her 30s dies after being found in the River Mersey
A woman in her 30s who was pulled from the River Mersey has died.
The emergency services were called out to Pier Head on Friday morning and rescued her from the water.
She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A police spokesman said to the ECHO: "We can confirm that officers were called to the Pier Head in Liverpool at around 6.10am today, Friday 26th November, following reports of concern for the safety of a woman in the river."

Murder investigation launched after woman, 47, found dead in flat
A murder probe has been launched after a woman was found dead in a flat.
At around 4.55pm on Thursday, November 25, emergency services were called to The Green in Stoneycroft to reports a woman, aged 47, had been found in a property.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Photos of the scene today show a large police presence and a cordon still at the scene.
