Tributes to tragic chip shop worker 'with beautiful smile' who died suddenly

ECHO readers have offered touching messages of condolence after a young chip shop worker died suddenly at home.

Stefan Stefanov, who worked at The Chippy on Longview Drive in Huyton, died on August 11. A friend has said that paramedics fought in vain to save the 24 year old. The friend said the death was being treated as non-suspicious by police.

Mr Stefanov's sudden death has been met with sadness by locals who knew him. He was a regular presence in the chip shop and was well know for his genial banter with customers and colleagues.

Co-worker Rob Cunningham described Mr Stefanov as "the life and soul of the chippy" and the "king of the banter".
