Tributes to 'much loved husband and father' from Bolton killed in cycling crash

Tributes have been paid to a 'much loved husband and father' from Bolton after he was killed in a crash.

Stephen White, 56, had been cycling in Todmorden, West Yorkshire, on Saturday morning (May 9).

Officers from West Yorkshire Police were called to a "serious collision" involving a van and a cyclist in Burnley Road at 10.30am.

The cyclist in the crash was named by police as Mr White. He was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries.

YorkshireLive reports that a 35-year-old man, from the Manchester area, has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and driving over the prescribed limit.

Stephen's family said: "Stephen was a much loved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to so many and will be terribly missed by all that knew him."
