Tributes to 'loving' dad who was killed in A403 crash

The family of a "loving" dad who was killed in a crash on the A403 in Severn Beach earlier this month have paid tribute to him.

Austine Chiwendu Asuzu, 37, of Lawrence Weston, Bristol, died following the collision on the road linking Severn Road with Palmer Avenue at around 6.35pm on October 1.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances behind the collision that led to Mr Asuzu's death.

In a statement released by police, his family paid tributes to a "genuine gentle soul".

It said: “We are devastated to announce the sudden passing of our much loved and cherished Austine Chiwendu Asuzu, aged 37, on October 1.

“Austine was a hardworking, loving man who was devoted to his family and friends. He was a genuine gentle soul and we pray he’s resting peacefully.

“We love you more than words can say. You will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. Our number one papa. From your heartbroken mum, brother, wife, babies and everyone who loves you. LA N’UDO.”

Anyone with information about the collision should call Avon and Somerset Police on 101 and quote reference number 5220223221.
