On Saturday morning officers searching for James revealed that a body had been discovered at around 5.20pm on Friday. The tragic discovery was made in the town's Grampian Road, just over a mile from Netherton.

While formal identification is yet to take place, James' family have been informed. The update sparked an outpouring of tributes on social media.
