Karl Lagerfeld dies aged 85: Latest updates as tributes pour in for legendary Chanel fashion designer

French fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has died aged 85, according to reports in France.

The designer passed away after several weeks of ill health, according to Closer magazine.

Lagerfeld was admitted to hospital in Paris on Monday night and was pronounced dead this morning.

It comes after the designer, for the first time in his career, did not appear at the end of the Chanel spring-summer 2019 show on January 22.
