The family of a grandmother who died after a crash say they will 'miss hear dearly'.
Margaret McKenna, 69, was in a collision with a car when crossing Forest Road, Ollerton, at around 6.25pm on January 16.
The 69-year-old, who was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre, died on Thursday (January 30).
In a statement, her family said they would "miss her dearly".
They said: "Margaret grew up in the United Kingdom and emigrated to South Africa in 1973 with her husband, Dennis, and her daughter, Louise.
"They had two more children in South Africa: Natalie and Andrew.
"Margaret lived in South Africa for 33 years before returning to the United Kingdom but her heart was always in South Africa.
"Margaret was a strong, feisty woman with a wicked sense of humour which will be missed dearly.
"She loved her home and used her artistic talent to continuously redecorate.
"Her garden was her pride and joy and was a product of her naturally green fingers.
"Her children’s fondest memory of her was waiting for her to come home from work, where she would kick off her heels, put a record on, and they would have a mandatory dance off for half an hour before she cooked dinner.
"Margaret, your sister, three children, their partners and six grandchildren will miss you terribly.
"They know you are dancing in heaven to ‘The Twist’ making everyone laugh."
Officers investigating the collision have spoken to a woman in connection with the incident but no arrests have been made.
Any witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage is asked to come forward.
Anyone with information that may help the investigation is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police, quoting incident 698 of January 16.
