Tributes have been paid to a 15-year-old boy who 'had his whole life ahead of him' after he was found dead in the woods near his home.
"Beloved" Benjamin Catchpole, known as Benji, died in Hartlepool, County Durham, on Sunday evening.
He was discovered after police and ambulance crews were called to the woods.
Cleveland Police confirmed that the body of a young man was found at the scene and officers were supporting the family through this difficult time.
His family have been left heartbroken by the loss of their "beloved son and brother".
Benji was described as a "popular young lad who had his whole life ahead of him," Teesside Live reports.

The Manor Community Academy pupil was loved by all his teachers and friends.
Floral tributes have also now been left at the scene of his death.
A fundraising page has been set up by Miles for Men, a Hartlepool-based charity which raises funds for families affected by cancer.

All donations will be used to give Benji "the send-off that he deserves", with all money donated to the family.
The JustGiving page has been set up with the blessing of Benji's mother, Cheryl Picken.
The fundraiser states: "Cheryl and the rest of the family would like to thank you for your kind words and messages through this heart breaking time, can we please ask that [you] respect their privacy."

Miles for Men has also offered to help and support the family in anyway they can.
A spokesman for Cleveland Police said: "Our thoughts and sympathies remain with them."
A spokeswoman for the North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 8.19pm on Sunday, May 24 to an incident on Tremaine Close, Hartlepool.
"We dispatched a double crewed ambulance, a specialist paramedic, a clinical care manager and a doctor from the Great North Air Ambulance."
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
