Tributes to 'beautiful' girl, 11, who died suddenly at home

Tributes have poured in for an 11-year-old girl who was found dead at her home in Wirral.

Police confirmed that the schoolgirl died suddenly at her home in Cherrybank, Wallasey on Monday.

Emergency services attended the address but paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.

Her death is not believed to be suspicious and a file has been prepared for the coroner.

Many ECHO readers have sent condolences to the girls' family.

On Facebook, Chelsea Stewart said: "R.I.P beautiful girl...Sending my love to her family xxx"

Princess Betty added: "RIP Angel. So Heartbreaking."

A third Kirsty Moore commented: "Rest in peace angel fly high."

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We can confirm police attended an address in Wallasey yesterday, Monday 14 June, following reports of the sudden death of an 11-year-old girl.

"The child was found at her home on Cherrybank yesterday morning. Paramedics attended but she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

"The girl has been formally identified and her next of kin has been informed. Her death is not believed to be suspicious and a file has been prepared for the coroner.

"The family has asked for privacy at this very difficult time."
