Tributes are pouring in for a young couple who have been found dead in Ardrossan.
Cops are treating the 'sudden' deaths of Sam Roberts, 22, and Lauren Hetherington, 23, as 'unexplained'.
It comes after p olice swarmed Millglen Road following the tragic find which is not thought to be suspicious.
Loved ones have been left shocked by the devastating news and are paying tribute online.
Catherine Oneill said: "Thinking of my cousins and family and friends.
"Thinking of Sam his family and friends."
Kirsty Mckenna said: "What a sad morning woke up to some extremely upsetting news RIP Sam Roberts and his girlfriend as well.
"Love to all the family's thoughts and prayers are with the Roberts family and the girlfriends."
Yvonne Grayhurst said: “RIP Lauren, can’t believe the news today, gone far too soon.”
Investigations are continuing into the incident and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We can confirm that around 3pm on Monday, 22 November, officers were called to a property on Millglen Road, Ardrossan, following the sudden deaths of a 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman.
"The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
