Tributes pour in for The Ronains singer Shaun Scott as band announce his death

Tributes have been paid to a popular Glasgow musician who sadly passed away earlier this week.

Shaun Scott, guitarist/vocalist of Clydebank band The Ronains, died on Monday.

His heartbroken bandmates announced the sad news on their Facebook yesterday.

A statement read: "Our beautiful best friend has sadly passed away. Shaun was our boy, our little brother, we did absolutely everything together & this soul destroying news has broken us.

The band posted the group picture on their Facebook page yesterday (The Ronains Facebook)

"There are no words to describe what Shaun meant to his loving family & to us, our time together was packed with love & laughter, music and sheer magical moments. Shauny was such a sweetheart & was loved by everyone who met him, he hated drama and never had a bad word to say about anyone.

"We have been inundated with messages but are too broken to reply. Our hearts are with the his family at this time.
"Rest in peace our beautiful boy and thank you for coming into our lives, we will never ever forget you."

Shocked fans quickly flooded the page with heartfelt messages.

Shaun and his new wave rock band group members were due to head out on the road this weekend.
