Tributes pour in for Scots teenager 'who had time for anyone' after sudden death

Tributes have been paid to a 'beloved' Scots teenager after his sudden death.

Adam Jones died aged just 19 at his home in Arbroath in what is understood to have been an accidental overdose.

The young man had moved to the Angus town just months earlier.

Pals and well-wishers have come together to pay tributes to Adam.

On Facebook, Jack Caird paid a touching tribute to the man 'who had time for anyone'.

He wrote: "May you rest in peace up there Adam Jones. ALWAYS the life of the party, the guy with the best advice and the most time for any of us.

"You were a massive part of us all growing up and those memories will be there forever. Thank you for being you."

Eve Arburthnott wrote: "Rip Adam Jones. You always knew how to make everyone smile, your gonna be missed so much by everyone, fly high and rest easy."

Adam had planned on pursuing a career as a plumber and dreamt of visiting Australia one day.

A fundraising drive for a mental health charity launched in his honour.

A massive £6,765 has already been raised by devastated friends of Adam's with a plan to release balloons after a charity walk in place.

Organiser Kyle Munro wrote: "We are doing this charity walk to raise awareness for mental health as yous will all know we sadly lost are are beloved best friend Adam Jones so we would like to do this walk to show how much he truly did mean to us.

This walk will take place on Saturday the 27th and start at Wormit beach at 10am and will finish in Carnoustie outside his mum's house where we will set off balloons.

"For more information on times and where we will stop along the way for people to join in etc will all be on Facebook .And we would just like to thank you for any donations made."
