An Edinburgh mum has been described as "one in a million" after she died suddenly on Wednesday (March 17).
Named locally as Chantelle Kirk, the 27-year-old was pronounced dead at a home in Saughton Mains Park after police had attended the scene.
Today, tributes have flooded in for Chantelle, with loved ones calling her an "angel" after hearing the tragic news from last night.
Writing on social media, one friend wrote: "Such a cruel world we live in.
"Forever young, fly high Chantelle Kirk.
"Gone but never forgotten.
"Sleep tight, till we meet again.
"Heaven has gained a legend of an angel, that's for sure."
According to the Daily Record, others added very similar messages of adoration for Chantelle, with another adding:
"Chantelle will be sorely missed.
"Can't believe she's gone."
A third posted: "So sad, make sure you hug your loved ones extra tight.
"RIP Chantelle hope you find your peace."
Another wrote: "I miss you so much, you were one in a million.
"You have gained your wings, babe.
"Another one taken too soon."
