Tributes pour in for 'gorgeous girl' after woman found dead in Scots home

Tributes have been paid to an 'amazing woman' after she was found dead in Perth and Kinross.

Michelle Lizanec, of Catmoor Avenue, Scone, was found by cops at a property on Orchard Way, Inchture, at around 11.40pm on Saturda, February 13.

A 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged over the 44-year-old's death after a 12-hour long siege at a residential property in Dundee.

Heartbroken friends have described Michelle as a 'lovely woman' after her sudden death.

One shocked friend said: "Absolutely heartbreaking. She was such an amazing woman."

Another said: "Thoughts are with the family. So sad she was a lovely woman."

A pal added: "So so sad. Rest in peace gorgeous girl. Thoughts are with your family at this very sad time."

Another said: "Rest in peace Michelle you were a such a lovely woman."

"She was such a lovely person! I'm shocked and saddened by this," said someone on social media.

Police shut down Balunie Street, in the Douglas area of Dundee, shortly before 9am until 8.50pm on Sunday as negotiators spoke to a man through a letterbox who had shut himself inside a house.

The male has now been charged in connection with Michelle's death.

He is due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court later today, February 16.

Police say a full report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
