Tributes pour in for 'gentleman' car dealership owner after sudden passing

Tributes have flooded in for an Ayrshire car showroom boss following his sudden passing.

Springside Motors director Graham Irvine died on Monday with the village showroom closing until yesterday following the tragic news.

The Kia dealership announced the sad news on their business Facebook page on Monday and confirmed that the showroom would be closed until Wednesday, May 18. It has since reopened.

The post read: "Due to the sudden passing of one of our Directors, Graham Irvine, Springside Motors will be closed until Wednesday, May 18.

"Our thoughts are with the family at this time. Thank you for your understanding."

Hundreds of tributes were paid to Graham on the Springside Motors Facebook page.

One person wrote: "We could not believe this news, not only was Graham a true gentleman who looked after his customers he was great company."

"I'm so sorry to hear about Graham's passing, he was part of the Springside community. Can't believe that he's gone, such a gentleman. My thoughts are with Graham's family and all the staff at Springside motors. RIP mate," said another.

Another said: "So shocked and saddened to hear this news. A true gentleman who cared about his customers."

"Graham was a great lad and businessman," added another.
