Tributes pour in for Dublin businesswoman Jennifer Taaffe following death at age 41

Tributes have been pouring in following the death of Dublin businesswoman Jennifer Taaffe following her battle with cancer.

The mother-of-two was the CEO and founder of iZest marketing and scooped the award for Digital Businesswoman of the year in 2018.

The 41-year-old Leopardstown native was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year and she passed away peacefully on Wednesday at St. Vincent's Private Hospital surrounded by her loving family and close friends.

Pippa O'Connor led the tributes to the businesswoman saying that it was "the day we didn't want to come", Dublin Live reports.

She added: "Jen I’ll miss you so much. I have not words right now."

iZest also released a statement saying they were "deeply saddened" following the passing of Jennifer.

They said: "She was an inspirational figure both professionally and personally. We will miss her smile, determination and vision.

“Jenny, your philosophies and passion continue to influence our work every day and we look forward to continuing your vision into the future and making you and your boys very proud.”

Jennifer will be reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Friday, August 9 from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6.30pm.

Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday at 10am in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park.

RIP.ie stated that there will also be a live streaming of Jenny's Funeral Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/foxrock.
