Tributes have poured in for "beautiful soul" Daven Thomas who died after a night out.
The circumstances of the 21-year-old's death are not yet clear although Merseyside Police concluded it was not believed to be suspicious.
Daven was found in a critical condition in a property in Liverpool City Centre on Sunday morning prompting a frantic appeal for information from his family and friends.
But on Wednesday a police spokesman confirmed Daven had died in hospital.
News of his death prompted an outpouring of grief, with friends and sympathisers posting tributes online.

On the ECHO Facebook page, Denise Thompson posted: "I am truly saddened deeply to hear this news.
"A lovely lad, beautiful soul that shone through his smile. He was such a nice lad, very polite. I am sending my condolences to all his family, may you find peace.
"You’re in my thoughts and prayers xxx."
Vicky Christian wrote: "My heart goes out to all the family and his friends. He came in my shop a few times a week and was such a polite happy young man who always had a smile, RIP X."
Heather Checkland posted: "No, this is so sad. I honestly hope his sister gets the answers she was looking for. RIP kiddo. World is a cold place."
On Twitter, Byrne's Fish and Chip Shop posted: "Terrible news reading about the young lad Daven Thomas sadly passed away.
"Since we opened our shop on Muirhead he became a regular. Always been very well mannered and a big smile on his face. Thoughts go out to his family and friends horrible news."
The police have prepared a file for the coroner and an inquest will begin to establish the cause of Daven's death.
Before he lost his fight for life, Daven's family appealed to piece together his last movements.
It is thought he had been out with friends on the Saturday night, but little is known of where he went after about 3am.
There were reports he had been in Aura nightclub on Slater Street, but the bar's bosses contacted the ECHO, having reviewed their CCTV cameras, and said they do not believe that is accurate.
Relatives said he was seen at about 1.40am, on Lark Lane in Aigburth, getting into a black taxi.
Beth Thomas, Daven's sister, said: "Can anyone help us with any information about where my little brother was on Saturday night through to Sunday morning?
"Who he was with?
"Or if anyone seen him?
"We are trying to piece together what has happened and we need any information anyone can give us!
"...someone knows something and we need to find out!"
Another sister, LA based model Tanya Tate, jetted back from the US to support her brother.
Before he died she posted on Twitter: "This is Daven, he is my youngest brother.
"I’m making my way back to Liverpool as he is fighting for his life in hospital right now. Please lift up Daven and my family in your hearts and prayers I’m heartbroken!"
