Tributes pour in following death of Crumlin taxi driver

Tributes have flowed in following the death of “great Crumlin man” Paddy O’Keefe.

Paddy passed away “peacefully” on Friday surrounded by his family in Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold's Cross.

He worked as a taxi driver and some locals shared fond memories of him.

One wrote online: “Deepest sympathy to all the family he was a lovely man . Many chats during my taxi journeys with him . May he RIP”

Another said: "Very sorry to hear the sad news. Always enjoyed a pint and a chat with Paddy. RIP.”

A third wrote: “Paddy was a lovely man always enjoyed a yap with him. God bless Paddy”

Paddy’s funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 10am in St. Agnes’s Church, Crumlin Village.
