Tributes paid to woman found dead at house in Inchture

Tributes have been paid to a woman who was found dead at a property in Perthshire on Saturday night.

Michelle Lizanec was pronounced dead on the scene at an address on Orchard Way in Inchture at around 11.40pm.

A man has been charged in connection to Michelle's death.

People took to social media to pay tribute to the 44-year-old, of Cartmoor Avenue in Scone.

One wrote: "So so sad ... Rest in Peace gorgeous girl ... thoughts are with your family at this very sad time."

Another said: "Thoughts are with the family. So sad she was a lovely woman."

Perthshire North MSP John Swinney described Michelle's death as "tragic" and said: "My thoughts are with the friends and family of the victim."

Local councillor Angus Forbes said: "I was very sorry to learn of the death of a lady in Inchture and my thoughts are very much with her family and friends."

The 46-year-old man who has been arrested and charged in connection with her death is due before Perth Sheriff Court on Tuesday, February 16.

A full report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
