Tributes paid to 'true legend' who was 'life and soul of any party' after tragic death

Tributes have been pouring in for a young man who took his own life.

Jordan Raymond Usher, 28, was known as the "life and soul of any party" and has been hailed as a "true legend" by those who knew him.

An inquest held on July 8 heard how Jordan was found unresponsive at his home in Litherland on September 29, 2020.

He was also found to have broken ribs, reports Liverpool Echo.

Merseyside Police received a call from a woman who was concerned after a "drunken man was making threats in the street".

Officers and paramedics attended Jordan's home at around 2.45am, and he was rushed to Aintree University Hospital.

After spending two days in intensive care, medical tests showed a poor prognosis.

Jordan died in hospital at 1.39pm on October 4, 2020.

Police confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances or evidence of third-party involvement and a post mortem examination gave the medical cause of death as hanging.

Jordan's ex partner later told police it was her who made the initial phone call.

Reading aloud evidence, senior coroner Julie Goulding said Jordan had a "history of mental health issues" and had previously made attempts on his own life.

Ms Goulding recorded a conclusion of suicide.

Tributes have been paid to Jordan on Facebook.

One person wrote: "You'll be truly missed, my brother from another mother. True legend you were bro, you made all our nights out the best. Shine bright up there, bro."

A second wrote: "One of the good ones, life and soul of any party or night out."

Another said: "We love you so much, memories will last forever, we're going to miss your giggles and seeing your gorgeous face."
