Tributes paid to 'true gentleman' following sudden death of Scots dad

Heartbroken friends of a Scots dad have paid tribute to the “true gentleman” following his sudden death.

Chrissy Sullivan, from Glasgow, sadly passed away on Thursday April 30, leaving behind his loving wife Lisa and their four young sons.

Friends and loved ones have rallied around the Garrowhill family by starting a fundraising page to help ease the financial pressure at this tragic time.

Paying tribute, one friend said: “Am totally gutted to hear that a very good friend of mine Chrissy Sullivan from Garrowhill passed away suddenly yesterday leaving a lovely wife Lisa and 4 great boys.

“His wee mum and brother. A great guy taken far to soon. Chrissy until we meet again sleep tight pal.”

Another added: “Devastated and shocked to hear of the sudden passing of a good friend and workmate today.

“My thoughts go out to all his family, close friends and colleagues at this horrible time.

“A true gentleman and an absolute gem of a guy. RIP Chrissy, you’ll be sorely missed by many people.”

The JustGiving page has already smashed its initial target and raised more than £15,000 in less than 24 hours.

It read: “To help Lisa and the boys through this difficult time, as most of us know as fitness/ yoga teachers we only get paid when we work, let's help to take the pressure off for the first few weeks of this shockingly awful new beginning for them all.”
