Tributes have been paid to a teenage rap artist who was killed when the car he was in struck a tree in Birmingham.
Friends laid flowers on the stretch of road where the 14-year-old, named locally as Kane Balogun, was killed.
Dozens of bouquets have been attached to a nearby tree on the road with messages including "Rest in paradise Kane".
The teenager was killed when a silver Peugeot 206 in which he was a passenger crashed on Stechford Road in Birmingham late on Friday.
Rescue services performed emergency aid but Kane died at the scene, a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said.
Police later arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Kane was an up-and-coming rapper who performed with grime outfit FRB (Fully Reppin' Brum) under the name KD.
A report in the Birmingham Mail quoted a family friend describing Kane as a "lovely young lad".
Among the tributes left at the scene of Kane's death was one addressed from Buba, it said: "Yo Kane, God wanted his Angel back and there you are. I'll always miss you."
A card, written by Kane's cousin Chloe, said: "Can't believe you're gone only 14! My beautiful crazy little cousin. Love you millions."
One resident on the street, who did not wish to be named, said it was a "tragedy".
He said: "Fourteen is far too young to die. It's upsetting, a real tragedy."
