Tributes have been paid to the "Queen of Moore Street" Carmel Mooney who died on Tuesday aged 84.
Ms Mooney passed away "peacefully, at the Mater Hospital, surrounded by her loving family".
She grew up in Henrietta House and was the third generation of family traders on Moore Street, taking up the reins after her mother and grandmother.

Stephen Troy of Troy's Family Butchers on Moore Street said that Carmel's death is "another huge loss" to the market, which has faced major challenges over the past few years.
He told Dublin Live: "I think she brought a lot of charm, wit and a warm Dublin welcome to the street. She was a very hardworking woman and it's great to see her nieces still trading on the street.
"I can only admire the work they do there. They work during rain, hail, sleet and snow and have a very hard way of life to earn a living.
"It's another huge loss to the market. She had retired from trading but her presence will be deeply missed on Moore Street. She had a huge knowledge of the street because of her age so that's a huge loss to the area.
"Moore Street is the heart of Dublin and what's Moore Street without the street traders? I'm sure there's a huge sense of sorrow amongst all the traders today to see another one passing on."
Ms Mooney's funeral notice said she will be missed by her husband Paddy, children Thomas and Patrick, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sister, brother, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and all who knew and loved her.
Her funeral will take place at 10:30am on Friday at Saint Peter’s Church, Phibsboro and it is expected that her coffin will pass through Moore Street with businesses pulling their shutters and standing outside as a mark of respect.
