Tributes have been paid to Karzan Sabah, wife Shahen Qasm and their eight month old baby Lena after they died in the horror M6 Galway crash earlier this week.
The young family were travelling on the M6 at Poolboy in Ballinasloe when they were involved in the three-car smash.
The Kurdish community has been paying tribute to the family and a roadside vigil was held on Saturday afternoon.
In a statement, the Kurdish Irish Society said: "Let this candle stay alight so we can remember Karzan Sabah, his wife Shahen Qasm and their eight month old little angel infant Lena. May they rest in peace and their kind souls returned to Allah, god rest their souls."
A Polish national who was killed in the horrifying M6 crash has been named as Jonasz Adam Lach.
Jonasz had been living in Fisherman's Wharf in Portumna, Co Galway.
It's understood he was the single occupant of the car which drove down the wrong side of the motorway before colliding with another vehicle.
Funeral arrangements are being made for Jonasz as his relatives have been informed of the tragic news.
On his death notice on RIP.ie, it read: "Jonasz tragically passed from this life on Thursday 19 August. May his soul rest in peace
"With current restrictions funerals are limited in numbers to immediate family and friends only."
It adds that messages of support can be left on the page.
Funeral arrangements will be announced once they are confirmed.
