A Scots dad who died after an alleged disturbance at a Fife house has been remembered as ‘one in a million’ by heartbroken pals.
The man, named locally as Tom Adams, was pronounced dead at the scene after police and paramedics were called to the Uist Road, Glenrothes, on Saturday night.
Tragically, the 65-year-old could not be saved with detectives treating his death as ‘suspicious’.

Police Scotland have confirmed that a 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday.
Dad and grandad Tom is understood to have recently celebrated his first wedding anniversary after getting married to beloved wife Jakki Adams, 59, during a ceremony in November 2019.
His heartbroken son Mark Adams changed his profile picture on Facebook to one of him and his loving father.
Devastated friends and loved ones paid tribute to Tom who was described as a ‘gentleman’.
One friend wrote: “Rest easy mate. You were a gentleman.”
Another said: “GBNR RIP Uncle Tom.”
A third added: “Tragic RIP Tom you were one in a million. Taken too soon.”

A heavy police presence was seen in the Pitcoudie area on Saturday after the alarm was raised at around 7.10pm.
It was later confirmed that a 65-year-old man had lost his life.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a 65-year-old man in Glenrothes.
“Around 7.10pm on Saturday, 20 February, 2021, police were called to a report of a disturbance at a house in Uist Road, Glenrothes.
“The 29-year-old man is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday, 22 February, 2021.
“A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
