Heartfelt tributes have been paid to a Leeds father-of-two who set three world records at the London Marathon.
Terry Midgley, 46, was described as "a legend" after he passed away on Saturday, October 19.
In a short statement, Temple Newsam Park Run, said: "Sad to announce that popular and committed member of our parkrun community Terry Midgley passed away peacefully this weekend.
"The Temple Newsam Parkrun team is heartbroken and we send all our love to his family.
"Rest in peace, friend. Love you, legend. We will all miss you."
In 2015, he set a world record for the fastest marathon run by someone dressed as a lifeguard (2:55:54).
In 2017, he became the fastest person to run a marathon dressed as a chef (3:22:27) and in 2018, the Leeds Rhinos fan set the world record for the fastest marathon run by someone dressed in a rugby kit (3:20:16).
He set all three of the impressive records while raising money for charity.
A statement on his Facebook page reads: "It is with heavy hearts that we would like all our family and friends to know that Terry passed away peacefully.
"He was surrounded by people that loved him and he was relaxed at the end.
'Thank you to all for your support'
"We would ask that you give us a little time as a family and just support one another.
"Terry and Mel have asked for no flowers at the house or funeral please.
"More details will follow. Let's be comforted by all our amazing memories."
