Tributes have been paid to a man who died after an incident at a flat in Govan.
Police were called to reports of a man being injured at the address on Summertown Path around 12.30am on Monday.
A 33-year-old man, named locally as Jamie McGready was found seriously injured and rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he later died.
Jamie, also known as Jaggy, has been described as a 'true gentleman' by those who knew him.
Friends and family took to social media to pay tribute to the popular man.
East End Athletic commented: "It's with a heavy heart the club have to announce this, the club have this morning lost a true gentleman and friend in Jamie 'JAGGY' McGready who sadly passed away, the clubs thoughts are with jaggy's family at this sad time."
Another friend said: "Sending yous big hugs and love. Yous will be in my thoughts and prayers️. Rest in peace Jamie."
One tribute read: "Heartbreaking news RIP Jaggy. Such a cruel world."
Another friend added: "Legend of a guy R.I.P bro."
A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 12.30am on Monday, August 31, police were called to a report of a man injured within a flat on Summertown Path, Govan, Glasgow.
"The 33 year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he died a short time later.
"A 21 year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with his death and is due before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, September 1.
"A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
