Tributes have been paid to a "lovely" young man who tragically died outside a Kerry hotel.
Darragh Sheehan was found unconscious outside the Gleneagle Hotel on the Muckross Road in Killarney at around 11.40pm on Saturday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but Darragh was pronounced dead a short time later.
The site was preserved for a technical examination, and a post mortem will be carried out at a later date which will determine the course of the investigation.
And emotional tributes have been pouring in for the "lovely" 26-year-old who was from Doneraile in north Cork.
One mourner wrote: "Deepest sympathy to the Sheehan and O Sullivan Family. Darragh was a lovely young fella always a cheeky smile on his face. May he Rest in Peace."
While another added: "Darragh was a fine young man, always had a smile on his face.
"His parents, grandparents, sister, brother, fiancee, aunts and uncle I've no words for you all other than look after each other through this and the weeks and months ahead. May he rest in peace."
Local GAA club Doneraile also said Darragh will be "greatly missed" in the local community.
They wrote on Facebook: "Our thoughts and prayers are with all Darraghs family, grandparents, uncle, aunts, cousins and his close friends at this tough time.
"Daragh played at all levels in the club juvenile and Adult with success at juvenile level.
"He was a great team player and always played the game with great pride and gave 100%. He was a player who always wore the club jersey with pride.
"He will be greatly missed by all in Doneraile Gaa. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam."
Darragh's family have also now confirmed that he will be laid to rest on Wednesday afternoon.
A post on RIP.ie reads: "The death has taken place of Darragh, beloved son of Tom and Hannah, loving brother of Kevin and Fiona, much loved fiance of Karen, adored grandson of Lil and Michael O'Sullivan and Ursula and the late Tom Sheehan.
"Sadly missed by his heartbroken parents, brother, sister, fiancee, grandparents, uncle John, aunts Pamela, Mary, Emma, Katie, Ursula, Geraldine and Anne Marie, Rob and Jade, relatives and a large circle of friends.
"Darragh will repose at his home Horseclose, Doneraile on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 2pm. Funeral afterwards to Oldcourt Cemetery.
"Funeral Mass will be private for family and close friends.
"HSE guidelines are strictly to be followed. No handshaking or hugging would be appreciated at this difficult time. In the interest of safety you are asked to wear face covering.
"We thank you for your cooperation and understanding."
