Tributes have been pouring in following the sudden death of young jockey David Corcoran.
The Mayo native passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home in Crossmolina on Monday.
The Ballina Agricultural Show was among those to pay tribute to the "kind and very talented young man", who was aged in his mid 20s.
They posted on Facebook: "We would like to offer our heart felt condolences to the Corcoran family on the passing of their beloved son David.
"David was a kind and very talented young man, who will be deeply missed in the show community and his larger circle of friends.
"Son, brother, cousin & friend. Rest in peace David."
David is mourned by his parents, brothers, grandad, aunt and extended family, as well as colleagues in the equestrian world and his large circle of friends.
His funeral takes place at St Tiernan’s Church, Crossmolina at midday on New Year's Eve.
