Tributes have been paid to a popular musician who died suddenly during a church service.
It's believed dad-of-one PJ 'Mocky' Stokes, 37, collapsed during a mass at the Good Shepherd Cemetery in Gortnahoe, Co Tipperary.
The talented guitarist, who died last Friday night, has been described as a "gent".
He was a member of the band The Mangled Badgers, who poignantly paid tribute to Mocky on social media.
They said: "A talented musician and a wonderful friend to us all. RIP Mocky Stokes."
One person said: "The whole place in shock. Very, very sad. He is a legend."
Another said: "What a great guy. Always so funny. Rest in peace Mocky."
A third simply added: "He was such a gent."
He will be remembered fondly by his partner Joan, daughter Ivy, mother Ann and sisters Jenny, Joanne and Cathriona.
His funeral mass is due to take place at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Gortnahoe at 11.30am on Tuesday. Mocky is to be buried afterwards in the Good Shepherd Cemetery.
