Tributes flood in for 'wonderful human' and Scots junior football manager who died

Tributes have flooded in for a 'wonder human' and well-loved Scots junior football manager.

Paul Kelly passed away 'peacefully' this afternoon leaving his family and team heartbroken.

The 'well respected' coach managed the football team St Rochs since 2019 in Glasgow.

Now his passing has left Scots devastated as they paid tribute on social media.

The St Rochs team posted on social media: "It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of St Roch's Manager Paul Kelly, who passed away peacefully this afternoon.

"Paul was respected and loved well beyond the world of football, and we share our deepest condolences and sympathies with his family at this time.

"We have requested to postpone all football activities this weekend as a mark of respect to the Gaffer and his family."

Samina Marwaha said: "Aww I’m really, really sad to hear this heartbreaking news, Paul was a lovely man…loved his family, friends and football.

"Our condolences to the Kelly family, Paul’s family and friends.

"Thinking of you all."

Randle Wilson said: "Rest in peace my friend.

"You made me a better person

"The incredible work you did with the Partick Thistle Charitable Trust was simply amazing.

"You were a wonderful human being."

Graeme Barrett said: "Sorry to hear that. I had not actually seen Paul for 25 years but I used to work with him in careers when I was a lad.

"Great guy and one of his mates has been keeping me up to date with battle.

"My condolences to all at St Roch but especially to his family.

"RIP Paul."

Eugene Duffy said: "Desperately sad news.

"Condolences to his family and friends.

"May he Rest in Peace."

RC Coyle said: "This is horrendous news.

"Heartbreaking for Paul’s family, friends and all who knew him."
