Tributes flood in for Rangers fan Cameron McMillan as cops probe suspicious death in Motherwell

Tributes have poured in for a Rangers fan who died following an incident in Motherwell in the early hours.

The 23-year-old, who has been named locally as Cameron McMillan, was discovered at around 5.50am following reports of a disturbance on Quarry Street in the Lanarkshire town.

Officers from Police Scotland are treating the death as suspicious and say a post mortem will take place in due course.

Since the news broke people have been taking to social media to leave tributes to Cameron.

Josh Simpson posted a picture of Cameron holding a Rangers Steven Gerrard scarf.

He said: "RIP Cammy brother, fly high ma boy."

Chantelle Ballantyne also took to Facebook to remember.

She wrote: "There's only one Cameron McMillan."

Jayne Sinclair Gardiner Rankin said Cameron was gone too soon.

She said on Facebook: "Rest easy cammy. And give bonnie the biggest kiss and cuddle. Xxx you struggled with her death and now you can be with her.
