Faithless singer Maxi Jazz has passed away aged 65.
His cause of death at this moment in time is yet to be revealed.
Taking to their official Facebook page this afternoon, the band informed their 719,000 followers, writing: "We are heartbroken to say Maxi Jazz died last night. He was a man who changed our lives in so many ways.

"He gave proper meaning and message to our music. He was also a lovely human being with time for everyone and a wisdom that was both profound and accessible.
"It was an honour and, of course, a true pleasure to work with him. He was a brilliant lyricist, a DJ, a Buddhist , a magnificent stage presence, car lover, endless talker, beautiful person, moral compass and genius.
And many fans took to the comments section of the post to express their dearest condolences at the heart-breaking news. One, wrote: "The best frontman ever and the best gigs I’ve ever been to, more like a spiritual experience - absolutely devasted to hear he’s gone - his lyrics were inspired.
"Condolences to his family and friends and the faithless followers RIP."
Another, penned: "Rest in peace legend..." while a third, added: "Gutted, the soundtrack to my 20’s and 30’s and the best live music I’ve ever seen."
Maxi Jazz, real name Maxwell Fraser, was born in Brixton on June 14, 1957. A renowned musician, rapper, singer-songwriter and DJ, he formed Faithless with core members Rollo, Sister Bliss in 1995.
The band went on to have world-wide success during their career, selling millions of albums and having massive hits with the likes of Insomnia, We Come 1, and God is a DJ.
