Tributes have been paid on social media to a promising young footballer from West Lothian who died over the weekend.
Matthew Rickis', known as Matty, from Armadale, West Lothian, had won a football scholarship in the USA and played for Broxburn Athletic Colts Football Club.
His tragic death has left family, friends and former team mates "devastated".

A statement on his football team's website said: "Everyone at the club is devastated to hear the news late Saturday night of the passing of U19 player Matthew Rickis.
"Matthew had a positive impact on and off the football field. Matthew was a much-loved person and we will all miss him dearly.
"Our thoughts are with Matthew’s family and friends.
"Rest in Peace."
After news of his death broke, friends took to social media to pay tribute to him, the Daily Record reported.
One wrote: "Absolutely gutted that you are no longer with us Matthew, you truly were the most genuine and caring friend ever.
"I will cherish all the good memories we had forever.
"I love you so much."
Another added: "You were pleasant, fun, thoughtful, kind, a joy to work with and a friend to many.
"RIP Matty."
Another pal posted: "You always lit up a room with how kind you were.
"I wish you knew how much you were truly loved.You will forever hold a special place in my heart, Matty."
