The touching display follows a crash on Renshaw Street, at the bottom of Brownlow Hill.

Emergency services were called just before 2.10pm following reports of a collision between a lorry and a pedestrian.

The surrounding roads were cordoned off by police and the lorry was screened off from public view as paramedics attended.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
