Tribute football tournament for young Bohemians fan to be held in Naas

A football tournament in tribute to a young Bohemians fan will be held next weekend in Naas.

The Gypsies, who defeated Shamrock Rovers in their latest Dublin Derby clash on Friday, urged fans to get behind the tribute tournament for Cian Mullally, who sadly passed away last winter.

The money raised on the day from the tournament will go to the Samaritans.

"Last November we lost supporter Cian Mullally, aged just 21, to suicide," the club wrote.

"When we enjoy nights like Friday’s Dublin derby, we remember too those no longer there to share those moments with us.

"Cian is sadly missed by his many young friends and fellow fans at Dalymount Park.

"On Saturday June 29, a 5-a-side tournament in Cian's memory will be held in Cian's memory at Naas Sports Centre in aid of the Samaritans.

"We hope as many supporters and members can get behind this event as possible."
