Trial due for man who denies harassing nine people

A man has denied harassing nine people which included sending emergency services to their home.

Ben Baber, 37, of no fixed address, appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court via video link on September 29.

He pleaded not guilty to a charge that, between November 7 and December 18 last year he pursued a course of conduct which amounted to harassment of the five women and four men.

It is claimed he: contacted them by messages; sent emergency services to their address; created a go fund me page; went to their address; sent letter.s

Magistrates adjourned the case for a trial at the court in January.

He was remanded on bail on condition that he has neither direct nor indirect contact named parties and is excluded from named addresses.

He is also banned from posting anything on social media regarding named parties.
