Trey Flowers among the new Lions attending voluntary workouts

Monday marked the first time the 2019 Detroit Lions could gather to work out in any sort of team capacity. Offseason voluntary workouts kicked off at the team headquarters in Allen Park.

Among those making their debuts in Detroit: prized free agent Trey Flowers. The versatile defender showed up for the voluntary session.

He was joined by fellow newcomers Justin Coleman, Logan Thomas and C.J. Anderson in photos released by the team on social media. More players rolled in throughout the cold spring morning.

This voluntary session lasts through Thursday. While coaches are present, they are not allowed to lead any structured activities. It is strictly for conditioning, strength training and injury rehabilitation.
