Trevor Lawrence given 66/1 odds to win NFL MVP

While the Jacksonville Jaguars have yet to turn in the card with his name on it, nobody has doubts that Trevor Lawrence will be coming to Duval. When he does, it seems like he’ll be leading the way in terms of MVP odds on the team as BetOnline.Ag has him down with 66/1 (+6,600) odds to win the award.

With that figure, which is good for the 12th-best odds, he’ll be tied with the likes of Tua Tagovailoa, Kirk Cousins, Ben Roethlisberger, and Alvin Kamara. Lawrence’s figure is also the best of all the rookies listed as Zach Wilson (80/1), Justin Fields (100/1), Mac Jones (150/1), and Trey Lance (150/1) are behind him.

Some of the notable veterans who Lawrence placed ahead of includes Jimmy Garoppolo (80/1), Jared Goff (80/1), Dalvin Cook (80/1), Ryan Fitzpatrick (80/1), DeAndre Hopkins (100/1), and Travis Kelce (100/1).

While the Jags are coming off a 1-15 season, it largely was due to their defense. As for the offense, Lawrence will be coming into a good situation if they can protect him as the skill weapons are there for him to make some noise like James Robinson. DJ Chark Jr., Laviska Shenault Jr., and Colin Johnson.
