Trevoh Chalobah drops social media hint over Callum Hudson-Odoi contract talks

Callum Hudson-Odoi's Chelsea teammate Trevoh Chalobah has joined in with the calls of Chelsea fans for the winger to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge by responding to his latest social media post.

Hudson-Odoi has been locked in contract negotiations with the Blues, but the latest reports suggest that the teenager has  agreed a new five-year-deal with the club.

However, these were played don by head coach Frank Lampard, but the Chelsea legend did confirm that a deal was edging closer to completion.

"I think agreed would mean signed so we’re not quite there but what’s very clear is the club are working towards that," he said. "Talks moved on very well in the last week or two but it’s not done yet.

"The one thing that’s clear to me is I want to keep him here. He’s a player we cherish.

"Players who come through the academy are the present and the future of the club so we’re doing everything we can to get there. I hope it’s news to be confirmed soon."

Hudson-Odoi has increased speculation that the deal may be done with his latest social media post. It wasn't just fans replying to the tweet sent by the midfielder.

Chalobah has come through the youth teams at Stamford Bridge with Hudson-Odoi and replied urging his teammate to extend his stay at the club. Replying to his teammate's tweet, Chalobah wrote "sign it" with an emoji with heart eyes.

The tweet has gone down well with Chelsea fans, all of who will be hoping that Hudson-Odoi will listen to his teammate and commit his future to the club in the coming days.
