Washington Redskins veteran left tackle Trent Williams posted an interesting message on his Instagram story Wednesday night, a day before the 2020 NFL Draft gets underway.
The message, which consisted of several side-eye emojis, followed by some prayer hands and a winking face, could mean many things, but it seemingly alludes to a potential trade that might take place ahead of the draft on Thursday. Williams has been on the trade block for several months now, but as the hours before the draft have dwindled, some buzz surrounding his eventual move has started to ramp up.
Does Trent know something that we don’t? It’s entirely possible. Who knows, by the time you wake up in the morning, the seven-time Pro Bowler may have a new jersey to put on, and the Redskins might have a couple of extra picks in this year’s draft.
