Trent Williams is expected to practice on Wednesday after passing physical

Just a day after Washington Redskins’ left tackle Trent Williams ended his extensive holdout from the team and returned tot he facilities, there are reports out that…nobody is quite sure what will happen next.

According the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Williams passed his physical on Wednesday morning and is expected to practice with the team today at 1 p.m. However, it would come as no surprise to find out later today that Williams refused to suit up, and claimed some sort of injury in order to avoid playing with a team who he vowed never to play for again earlier this year.

Technically, there is not much the team can do to make Williams practice either. Since he ended his holdout on Tuesday, his contract will be counted this season, and he will be one year closer to free agency after this year. Just because he is in the building doesn’t mean that he has any intentions of playing for the Redskins.

At this point, if he practices with the team at 1 p.m., it will be a shock to everyone.
