As we all expected to see on Wednesday afternoon, Redskins left tackle Trent Williams was not at practice with the team a day after he ended his extensive holdout from the Washington franchise.
The Redskins were granted a roster exemption for Williams on Wednesday.
It was reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport earlier in the day that Williams had passed his physical, and it was expected that he would practice with the team. However, anyone who has followed this situation closely knows that there was a very good chance that the seven-time Pro Bowler skipped out on Wednesday’s work, as well as Thursday’s, and Friday’s, and likely every day for the rest of the season.
