Trent Crimm (formerly of The Independent) has come a long way from the journalist that doubted every move new Richmond head coach Ted Lasso made in the first episode of the hit Apple TV+ comedy. In Season 3, Crimm has left behind the daily football beat so he can focus his efforts on Richmond and Lasso in an upcoming book.

A few episodes ago, we learned Crimm is gay, and he has since acted as a mentor for the then-closeted Colin Hughes.

Brilliantly portrayed by James Lance, Crimm has evolved from a side foil into a beloved member of the show. In this week’s latest episode — La Locker Room Aux Folles — Crimm broke the internet with his fashion choices, namely a blazer over a particularly cool Dolly Parton tee.

Everybody loved it.
