Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold delivered the perfect, personal Champions League final message after the final whistle.
The youngster has been a key part of the Reds' success this season, and helped his boyhood club to their sixth European Cup with a 2-0 win over Spurs on Saturday night.
Goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi were enough for Jurgen Klopp's side at Atletico Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, and Liverpool's players are now set to go down in the club's folklore following the victory.
But when asked afterwards whether Alexander-Arnold now considered himself a Reds legend, the youngster responded in the most perfect way.
"It’s hard for me to think of myself as a Liverpool legend. Obviously for me I’m just a normal lad from Liverpool who’s dreams have come true," the 20-year-old said on BT Sport.
Before the full-back added: "It’s hard to even put into words what has just happened and the celebrations that will happen tonight.
"We’ve deserved it more than anyone and we’ve beaten everyone in our path. We’ve done something special tonight.
"An early goal and a late goal has finished them off.
"We were probably dominated during the game but we’ve shown we’re a world class side by finishing them off."
The defender then concluded his interview with a message to the fans, saying: "When we look back on tonight we’re not going to think it’s a sluggish game we’re going to think we’ve just won the European Cup.
"We’ve just done it for all these fans."
