Trent Alexander-Arnold looked like he could hardly believe it as he received his Premier League winners' medal following Liverpool's 5-3 victory over Chelsea on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old, who came through the academy with the club, impressed yet again in the win over the Blues, scoring a superb free-kick and then creating an assist for Roberto Firmino - his 13th of the Premier League this season, beating his own record of number of assists by a defender set last year.
Alexander-Arnold has already won a Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup with his homegrown side, but it seems the Premier League medal means the most to him.
After it was put around his neck he could barely stop looking at it, and appeared almost overwhelmed as the significance of his and Liverpool's achievements seemed to dawn on him.
When asked by Sky Sports afterwards what it all meant to him, he replied: "Everything. This is the one that we all wanted as fans, as players and as a club. I'd swap every medal I've got just to have this one around my neck.
"The way we felt being up there on that podium is unbelievable. For the club, it's massive.
"I feel so lucky and so blessed to be part of such a special club. Everyone has played a massive part - the young lads, the senior lads, all the staff. It's been a collective effort and it's going to be a good night to celebrate.
"Winning the Champions League last year just helped our appetite to win more and more, and nights like this and the feeling you have now is what drives you, and hopefully we will be celebrating again in 12 months."
The Reds have one more game of the season as they take on Newcastle on Sunday before thoughts will begin to turn to the next campaign as they try to retain the title.
