Trent Alexander-Arnold makes Liverpool wonderkid prediction after Premier League debut

Kaide Gordon made his Premier League debut in Liverpool's 3-0 win over Brentford on Saturday afternoon at Anfield and Trent Alexander-Arnold said what everyone is thinking about the youngster.

The 17-year-old came on as a substitute with 10 minutes remaining and could have opened his Premier League account when he put clean through on goal.

Unfortunately, the winger couldn't find the back of net to become Liverpool's youngest league goal scorer.

The teenager is highly thought of by the coaching staff at Liverpool after joining the club from Derby County almost a year ago.

Alexander-Arnold seems to have taken Gordon under his wing since the youngster joined from Derby and the right-back took to social media after the game.

"The future is bright," Alexander-Arnold tweeted along with a picture of his young team-mate.

Gordon started for the Reds in the FA Cup third round win over Shrewsbury Town at the start of January and he scored Liverpool's equaliser in that game.

The winger was included on the bench for Liverpool's 0-0 draw in the first leg of the Carabao Cup against Arsenal on Thursday night and is expected to be in the squad for the match at the Emirates Stadium.
