Trent Alexander-Arnold has made a generous charity donation to help feed homeless people in Liverpool.
The ECHO understands that Alexander-Arnold, who grew up in West Derby, footed the bill for the city's homeless population to get involved in Global Scouse Day.
The donation from the Reds star will be used to enable the Whitechapel Centre, one of the leading homeless charities in Liverpool's city region, to prepare more food over the course of the next week.
Global Scouse Day is an annual event that celebrates the traditional Liverpool dish - a type of stew that can be made from beef or lamb.
The team behind the Global Scouse Day concept involves Liverpool supporter Dave Critchley, who is the chief executive director of the city centre restaurant Lu Ban, and another Merseyside business, Laura's Little Bakery.
Liverpool FC's community programme, Red Neighbours, have also helped to organise the event, while the Jamie Carragher Foundation also contributed.
