The Premier League season might only be four games old, but we all sort of know which way it's going to go already don't we?
With Liverpool and Manchester City having won seven of their eight games between them - and City only just denied an eighth by VAR - it is looking more than likely that last season's top two will be battling it out all season again.
But who have been the campaign's standout individuals thus far?
We've taken a look at some early season stats to work out just who the best players have been in 2019/20's formative weeks.
And here they are.

Goalkeepers

If a goalkeeper can only be judged by the saves he or she makes, then Hugo Lloris is the top of the stoppers so far.
The World Cup winner has made a total of 19 saves in his four Premier League appearances this season, with most of those coming in Spurs' away clashes at Manchester City and Tottenham .
He faced seven efforts at the Etihad and eight at the Emirates, where although he conceded twice he did so against an Arsenal side with an expected goals figure of 2.63.

Defenders

While there have been plenty of impressive purely defensive displays this season, it is impossible to overlook the contributions of Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold going the other way.
The right-back is a constant attacking presence in the Reds' side, and only Manchester City maestro Kevin De Bruyne has created more chances in the Premier League than the 20-year-old this season.

Midfielders

Having created the most chances then it is no surprise that De Bruyne is the man with the most assists in the Premier League this season.
Manchester City's Belgian playmaker has returned both to full fitness and to his best form in the early part of this campaign, and you'd surely be looking at pretty short odds for him to finish the campaign with the most assists to his name.

Forwards

Sergio Aguero has taken the early lead in the race for the Golden Boot, with his six strikes taking him one ahead of Manchester City teammate Raheem Sterling.
But when it comes to trying his luck then it is Burnley's Ashley Barnes who is the man with the shoot on sight policy.
Barnes has had 15 efforts on goal so far this season, which is two more than his nearest challenger, Norwich's Teemu Pukki.
